Last year while marking the Tour de Trail Kill Creek course I was in the river up to my waist… Sadly? Happily? The river crossing is not that high this year! Registration closes at midnight tonight and we will be sending out the runner and volunteer emails first thing on Friday morning. We will have race day registration for $50 cash, check or Venmo. Our favorite part of this Saturdays race is the water crossing!!! It’s SO refreshing and fun especially if you have never experienced a water crossing in a trail race before. Number 2 of our Tour de Trail series is at Kill Creek.. a fun 10K in the woods and the water! Registration is open until midnight on Thursday night and we will have race day registration for $50 (Venmo, check or cash (no change)). Tonight looks very different than last years night

Tonight looks very different than last years night before the race. Last year at 8pm we were still frantically marking an alternate course after a late afternoon, massive storm destroyed the trails. I’m heading home now, trails are marked, the U-Haul is crammed with gear, volunteers are ready and we are going to showcase some damn pretty trails in the morning! Thanks to everyone who helped get us here and will help get us all over the finish line tomorrow.
